A Brief Introduction to Department of
Computer Science and Technology |
|
Bringing up practical
and creative students is the goal of our department. Since
1994, we have only one major called computer science and
technology, at present, we have two majors, the other is
Network Engineering. |
| We have a
strong team of 38 teachers, 32 of them are specialized
teachers, and the other 6 are part-time teachers Of the
specialized teachers, one is post-doctorate, 4 are associate
professors, 2 are senior engineers, 4 are PhDs, and 90
percent teachers have gotten their master degree. Of the
part-time teachers, one is the member of the Chinese
Academy of Engineering, 4 are PhD supervisors, and 1 is
associate professor. 2 of our teachers get the prize of
a second-class state-level teaching award, and many of them
receive the provincial, city and school prizes. One of
our course called Basis of Microcomputer is ranked as an
excellent course of Fujian province . |

| With
the development of Computer science and Technology, our
teaching, experiment, research conditions have
been improved greatly. We now have Computer Network, Software
Engineering, Assembly and maintenance of Computer
labs, and so on. We also have 5 computer rooms. |

|
To
meet the special requirements of development of computer
science, we emphasize on not only the theories, but also
we pay a lot of attentions to experiments. We designed
Practice Projects for the students, which help
them a lot in their
ability.
For ten
years, our graduated students gain high praise from the
society and most of them get high salary. Each
year, our employment rates are above 96 percent. |
